Cohort 14 Participants

“I think, for me, two reasons. One, coming back for a second time, and having got so much from my initial experience…
…because I wasn't continuing to put into practice… I’d kind of consolidated almost, like, half a step back. So that was one thing, to continue to push my learning.
…the notion of assistants… I’d kind of dabbled with it… so I was really keen… to narrow down and focus.
And then my third reason for being here is a client that I'm working with… their ecosystem is in Copilot, and Copilot isn't an ecosystem that I really know… I’m wanting to… get much more fluent in it, so I can… make suggestions for my clients, speaking from a place of my own lived experience.

“Yeah, mine is a little bit more, emotional
…back in December, I found my notes from 2017… I wrote it down, learn more about AI, get to something hands-on, and… life happens, I became a father…
…in the most recent times… it's almost inevitable that… you're gonna end up working with AI tools… As we speak, I actually… demo agentic AI platforms…
But then I realized… I haven't spent time understanding… what does it really mean… So when I saw this note back in December, I'm like, that's it.

“I'm here because this just moves at the speed of light, and although I think I was part of Cohort 2, everything's changed since then, I think, and it's just, it's really helpful to have things reinforced.

Also, I will fully admit, the first time I took this, I was on vacation in Hawaii, so I didn't do all my exercises, so I appreciate the do your homework comment, because I wasn't able to do all the homework, and I think that that was… really important for the learning.

So, it's just trying to keep up, and then really more deeply embedding the skills that I already have.”

“I have been doing this cohort once before as well, but was a little bit sloppy with… the latest weeks, when we come into the automations and agents, I've just dropped out.

But I'm really inspired now, I'm kicking off a new project, a new company, and a podcast, and I think I have a lot of workflow and streams that I could be more efficient and build.

When I build this from the foundation, from the beginning, I would like to build it right, so I don't build all the automations in the wrong way…

I'm really looking forward to this… the intake interview is really interactive and nice, so I'm looking forward to do this again.”

“I'm just coming off the adult version of a gap year. I left my big tech job last year to just unravel.

Right now, I see myself as an intern, and it's… I have that same level of giddiness and excitement that I did when I was starting my career.

I'm gonna go back into software engineering, that's what I've done for almost 30 years, but with a completely new perspective.

It's been a really nice privilege and gift to be able to unravel and retool on my own time and terms.”

“I believe I was in Cohort 2, and at the time, I was the only one in my firm interested in using AI tools.

I joined because I saw a random ad for Lead With AI, and it was a great initial push. I was able to do a presentation to my company about how we could leverage AI.

But I felt disillusioned throughout 2025, because there was no company push, no policy, no excitement.

Then I learned that people were secretly using AI, and finally, in December, our legal department put together an AI policy, which I had started writing over a year ago.

Now I'm coming into this program with leadership finally on board, wanting to help the rest of my firm create AI systems for themselves.”

“I was with the previous cohort, and I didn't finish, but I'm happy to retake this one.

With the business I'm now starting up with Gentelligence, I really look for Level 4 and 5, but you have to learn to crawl and walk first.

To me, it's really important to get my hands dirty and really do the job myself, to be able to be an advisor.

I want to go from individual productivity into making real impact inside organizations, so I'm super excited to be back and do this properly this time.
