Import an ics file into your calendar

  • Google Calendar (web):Download the ics file → Google Calendar → “+” next to Other calendars → Import → Upload ics file → Choose calendar.
  • Outlook (web / Microsoft 365):Download the ics file → Outlook Calendar → Add calendar → Upload from file → Upload ics file → Import.
  • Outlook (desktop app):Download the ics file → File → Open & Export → Import/Export → Import an iCalendar (ics) → Select file.

Google adds music generation to the Gemini app

Google has introduced music generation inside the Gemini app, powered by its new Lyria 3 model. Users can now generate original music tracks from text prompts directly within Gemini, expanding the app beyond reasoning and into creative production.

NotebookLM adds prompt-based slide revisions and PPTX export

NotebookLM now lets you revise slide decks simply by prompting the changes you want, removing the need for manual editing passes. It also adds PPTX export, making it easier to move from AI-generated drafts to client-ready PowerPoint files. Google Slides export is expected next.
