Perplexity AI has introduced ​Perplexity Labs​, a new feature designed to convert your ideas into tangible projects efficiently. Using Perplexity Labs is like having a team of deep web browsing, code execution, and chart and image creation. This tool aims to streamline workflows by automating tasks that traditionally require extensive time and coordination.

How It Works:

  • Automated Code Generation: Labs can write and execute code to structure data, apply formulas, and create charts, text documents, or spreadsheets.
  • Assets Management: All files generated during a project, such as charts, images, CSVs, and code files, are organized in an “Assets” tab for easy access and download.
  • Mini App Development: Labs can develop and deploy simple interactive web apps directly within an “App” tab in your project, facilitating the creation of basic dashboards, slideshows, and websites without external development tools.

To assist users in getting started, Perplexity Labs offers a continuously updated ​Projects Gallery​. This resource showcases a variety of example projects, providing inspiration and templates that users can adapt to their specific needs.

Anthropic has introduced ​Voice Mode​ to its Claude mobile apps, enabling users to engage in full spoken conversations with the AI assistant.

Key Features:

  • Conversational Interaction: Users can speak to Claude and receive voice responses, facilitating hands-free communication.
  • Real-Time Transcription: As Claude speaks, key points are displayed on-screen, aiding in comprehension and note-taking.
  • Seamless Mode Switching: Users can effortlessly switch between text and voice within the same conversation, with context maintained throughout.
  • Google Workspace Integration: Paid subscribers can connect their Google Calendar, Gmail, and Google Docs accounts, allowing Claude to access and discuss this information during voice interactions.

This feature is currently available in English on both iOS and Android platforms and is being rolled out to all users over the coming weeks.
